As First Mate of the good ship Vera Segunda, Carol tends to all sorts of issues. She is a first rate helmsman who is always eager to take the wheel in any situation. Carol always handles the lines when entering port and takes the helm for anchoring maneuvers so husband Ed can handle the ground tackle. Carol has proven her abilities in the sixty plus locks and under all sorts of conditions. She also keeps the crew happy with wonderful meals and a tidy ship. Carol and Ed took a sabbatical to cruise for a few of years. They sold their home and moved aboard Vera II in May of 1998. They also made a transatlantic crossing with friends aboard their 53' schooner Sheba Moon.
They now live in East Providence, RI
